From startup to scaleup — Cloud Family launches a new identity built around "Cut Cloud Cost"
Cloud Family helps companies lower their AWS costs by typically 10–30 per cent, with no changes to their infrastructure. After several years focused entirely on the product, the Swedish tech company now enters its next phase — with a new identity, a new website and a considerably clearer position: Cut Cloud Cost.
Cloud Family has left the startup phase behind. The product is proven, the customer base has grown and the ambitions are bigger. Now the brand should better reflect the company Cloud Family has become.
"Cloud Family is a completely different company today than when our old brand was created. The product, the customers and the ambitions are at an entirely different level now. That should show," says Jonatan Redvik, CEO of Cloud Family.
The product came first. Now the brand catches up.
Cloud Family's previous identity was created when the company was brand new. Back then the focus was on building the product and getting the business going. A few years later, the outside needed to match the inside.
The new identity includes an updated logo, purple as a clear primary colour and a softer visual manner in which, among other things, balloons recur.
"We had no need to look like yet another tech company. We wanted Cloud Family to feel like our offer — smart, simple and very easy to understand. Cloud is complicated enough. We do not need to make the communication complicated too," says Josefine Johansson, CMO at Cloud Family.
It all lands in the same message: Cut Cloud Cost. At the same time, Cloud Family continues its international expansion, with the ambition of making the service available to more companies in more markets.
Lower AWS costs. Not a new IT project.
Cloud Family reduces AWS costs at the billing level. That means the customer does not have to change their infrastructure or take developers' time away from the product. Depending on usage and environment, Cloud Family's customers can typically reduce their total AWS cost by 10–30 per cent.
"Many people still assume that large AWS savings require technical changes. They do not. If we can lower your cost without touching the infrastructure, this is a no-brainer for many of the companies using AWS," says Henrik Lewander, CTO at Cloud Family.
